About Aidan Eslinger

 

  

Aidan Eslinger is a young writer, playwright, producer, and director.  He has been writing professionally since he was 8 years old. In December of 2014 He produced his 1st stage play Steve Comes Home. In March of 2016 he wrote, directed, and produced Grandma’s Easter.  This play had two productions, one in Little Rock, AR and the second in West Memphis, AR. Then in 2017 Aidan self-published his first children’s book “The Colorful Sky” (https://www.amazon.com/Colorful-Sky-Aidan-Eslinger/dp/1544244339). He organized and completed a Kickstarter Campaign to garner the funds to publish! 


December 1st, 2018 – Aidan produced his best production yet! The HIT stage play Sister Secrets! This play opened in a 1,000 seat auditorium in West Memphis, AR and the house was full! The production included a live band, professional lights and sound, and quality set design. After a successful opening night, Sister Secrets went on tour, with the first stop being Conway AR in February 2019! Aidan recently wrapped his fourth stage play It's Not What It Looks Like. It was a Dinner & A Show event with two productions. 


Aidan has always had a passion for reading and writing. When he was 5 years old, he wrote the original version of The Colorful Sky. Aidan has several more books ready to hit the shelves for children all over the world to enjoy. In addition to writing and acting, he is at the top of his class academically, was elected Vice-President of Student Council at his school and gives back to the community. He also participates in community theatre at Red Curtain Theatre in Conway Arkansas. 


Aidan’s dream is to become a Filmmaker. In addition to writing and directing films he wants to open a Restaurant and an Arts center, where children can come and explore their creativity.  He gives all honor to God for the blessings he's received and is eager to share his gifts and talents with the world.

When did you know you wanted to write books and plays?

 I knew I wanted to write books the first time I read a book. I would make books when I was 4 or 5 years old. So, the very first play I was in, I didn’t get the role I wanted. I thought to myself “I’ll just write my own play.”
